Atlanta Area Council Vision Statement

The vision of the Atlanta Area Council is to promote communication between chapters, to disseminate information, to exchange ideas, to participate in workshops, seminars and other joint activities and to provide opportunities for members to grow personally and professionally through education, networking support and community recognition.

2010 Council Goals

• Create an exceptional meeting experience for our membership by emphasizing the importance of maintaining AAC relationships, which is the lifeline of the Council.
• To broaden the focus of renewal and retention of Chapters and Express Networks.
• To have members value and benefit from the diversity among Council women.
• Continue to be the leader among ABWA Councils.
• Develop an active Public Relations Program promoting AAC.
• Move forward ("next steps") in the implementation of an innovative Council website.
