Atlanta Area Council Vision Statement

The vision of the Atlanta Area Council is to promote communication between chapters, to disseminate information, to exchange ideas, to participate in workshops, seminars and other joint activities and to provide opportunities for members to grow personally and professionally through education, networking support and community recognition.

2009 Council Goals

  • Become the leading council in ABWA
  • Increase membership and broaden council exposure with outside network groups
  • Become an active communication link with and for Chapters/Express Networks
  • Create and implement more proactive/innovative council website
  • Present dynamic and market relevant programs
  • Business Recognition - Highlight member businesses or recognize businesses in the community that impact our members
  • Personal Recognition - Member of the Month Spotlight or Council Woman of the Month
